Word Connections: Edited By: John Lacarbiere III
One of my favorite collections of poetry. I am honored to have been invited to contribute some pieces of poetry along with over 100 poets from around the world!
"...This is the first edition of "Word Connections." I want each edition to aid a specific charity... I didn't quite understand the power or the significance of this book until.. It's literally connecting everyone to each other with words..." - John Lacarbiere III

Nihon Rising ~ Point-Less
I was going through some folders and found some artwork that reminded me of the tsunami in Japan in 2011. I was asked to contribute to a very powerful project.
This piece was produced by @illiteratepoet:
"Our latest project is a poem/ art/ music/ video. IHONO Arts group and POINT-less Arts group combined their efforts to produce the following tribute to Japan and to promote awareness in the aftermath of the devastating Tsunami that struck in March 2011.
In addition to these two Art groups; over 50 Artists, Poets, Writers and other creative people from around the World, provided images for this project. OXOXO Arts group has kindly offered to announce the project in Japan. A big thank you to all of you that helped make this project a reality. Images and contributor details are listed.. read more.

Give Me a Sign
![]() |
We all go thru what can seem like devastating occurrences.
There's a deep seeded want or need for an answer, a clue, a sign...for a change for the better; anything when you're feeling at the point of desperation... or you think you are...
Signs are everywhere and more than likely we either see them and don't realize it or we just refuse to. They can be like a slap in the face, but often we're too busy looking for them to see them.
The Universe works in mysterious ways and it's not always the way we expect.
Stop and think. Maybe it's not the sender, but the receiver. The sign could be as huge as a billboard, but if we're constantly putting up walls and roadblocks how do we get the message..
Things WILL get better.
You are NOT alone.
Every moment IS a NEW chance.
You ARE love and loved.
LOVE can and WILL find YOU.
You have what you NEED.
You ARE at PEACE.
It is okay to TRUST again.
EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU IS BEAUTIFUL!
...PLUS any and everything else positive that you were looking for a sign for. Here it is. ;-)

Deep Within Me - Unfinished Poem by Karma Soul
Through racing hearts
I feel his love piercing my mind
Want rushing thru our veins
Kiss and appreciate my thoughts
My soul cries in anticipation
The inner being dances to the
rhythm of words unspoken
I feel his love piercing my mind
Want rushing thru our veins
Kiss and appreciate my thoughts
My soul cries in anticipation
The inner being dances to the
rhythm of words unspoken

Hey! Why so M.I.A.?
Hello everyone!
In my absence I have been doing a lot. I'm still steadfast on my own spiritual journey and without comes a lot of getting to know of oneself. I've also been in the works of launching a business magazine (extremely soon). I expect the hard work to pay off. :) My network is becoming a wealth of people that I feel were placed at the right time in my life. AND.. as I'm gaining new friends and associates, I have giving the BIG metal boot to all of the negative, emotional vampires that I had allowed in my life from my past. With that being said, a lot of work is being done. AND... (lol) YES! I am still writing! The collection of poetry, "Awake Falling Up," will be published extremely soon. Like soon as in, as soon as my photographer comes back into town. :) Anyway, I hope everyone, who still decided to stick around (HUMONGOUS THANK YOU), has an equally if not more productive next couple of months and that you all see the fruits of your labor from the seeds you have sown. ;) Enjoy your Memorial Day or Memorial Weekend.
With that said.. May life continue to go on..
